MFW ECC - Weeks 7-15 in Review

Sunday, December 7, 2014

A lot has happened since I last updated you. For one, we celebrated 2 birthdays. Silas turned 9 and Aedan turned 12. I have no idea where these years have gone. I don't have as many pictures to share, but this will be a review in pictures. Since our last update we traveled to Canada, Brazil, Norway and France. Around the time we were in Norway I was starting to feel like our plans this year weren't as fun as in years' past, so I decided to row a few books with Five in a Row for France. Those were GREAT weeks! I feel like FIAR was able to add some of the experience and fun that we were lacking in ECC. I'm not sure I will sustain it all year, but we have some plans to row a handful of books - at least one or two per continent. I will share those rows in a separate post. Don't get me wrong, Silas has learned a lot about the cultures of the world. I love that he is becoming an expert in geography as well! I was just lacking inspiration, and I think I found it. I will try to do a better job of keeping the blog up to date, but as we all know, life sometimes happens.

  1. Lots of learning fun! I've shared your blog with my mom who is just starting ECC with my nephew and I'm sure it will help her with a visual since this all new to them.

  2. Thanks for sharing my blog :) I hope I can start keeping it up to date more often!

Thank you so much for visiting :) I adore hearing from you!
