Ancient History Timeline Figures - HOD CtC

Monday, March 14, 2016

It is that time of year! I've already started tinkering around with what we will be doing in the fall. This coming year I will get the chance to do HOD Creation to Christ for the second time with Silas. I had meant to make timeline figures for it the first time around with Aedan, but never got around to it. These were made to fit perfectly on our Pandia Press Wall Timeline. Each week there are 2-3 timeline figures that we add to our notebook pages, but I always like being able to see the full picture of history and how it happened all together.

I can't wait to study this period again! I dated Creation for all you YE folks. If you aren't just do a slice-a-rooney to the date. Easy peasy.

There are 5 pages total. I printed them on card stock.

I then laminated them. If you don't have a laminator I'm not sure we can be friends. I kid...but really, how do you live without it? I've had this one for a few years now. She works like a charm!

I have this simple slicer do-dad. There are bigger fancier ones, but this one hasn't failed me yet. Every once and a while I need a new slider, but they are cheap.

And voila! I am so looking forward to seeing the story of God's people (ourselves included) next year!

  3. So you laminate them and THEN cut them? Doesn't the laminate fall apart if it doesn't surround the paper? If not, I've been wasting a ton of unnecessary time cutting everything twice! haha

  4. Thank you for posting these! I am getting ready for the fall as well and I love them. I used a lot of your organizational tips for our 2 ds this year, using HOD, Preparing. It has been, hands down, the most organized, smoothest year, in 13 years of homeschooling. You are a HUGE blessing to our lives!!

  7. Try it again :) I think I messed up by the link by making folders in my Drop Box. It should be fixed now! I'm so glad you can use them!

    1. Could it be your browser? You would need an updated Adobe reader to view them. Hmm..

  9. This is great. I've been looking for timeline figures for awhile, and I think these would be perfect. However, is there a way to get them without a Dropbox account?

  10. The file is too large to email unfortunately. I don't have any other way of sending it other than using something like drop box.
